General Information

Naval kindergarten INS KBN was established in 1989 and it runs under the administration of INS KBN.

⦿ The Navy education society(NES) was established in the year 1986 with an aim to promote education, science, culture, literature and fine arts among Navy children.
⦿ All NKGs function under the aegies of NES.
⦿ NKG INS KBN is recognized by both NES and State government.
⦿ Other than navy kids we give admissions to defence civilians and civilians kids also.
⦿ The school has Lower Kindergarten (LKG), Upper Kindergarten (UKG), Nursery and Creche .

NKG Follow both National early childhood care education framework (NECCEF) and state education Rules.

Curriculam is designed by educational experts of Naval education society. It is designed to promote holistic development of child while keeping in mind the individual differences and executed in a manner so as to enable child to learn through multiple sensory experiences of audio, video ,tactile or combination of these.

NKG managment committee is responsible for smooth functioning of school. Members of committee are Chairman-The Commanding Officer, deputy chairman, executive officer, officer in charge of NKG, HEADMISTRESS, NWWA representative and one parent representative.

School Objectives

  • Promote fine and gross motor skills through play, physical activities, and hands-on learning experiences.

  • Encourage creativity through art, music, and imaginative play, helping children to express themselves and explore new ideas.
  • Teach children about their environment and encourage respect for nature and living things.
  • Expose children to different cultures and traditions, fostering an appreciation for diversity
